Where did you discover trance?
I used to listen to Judge Jules when I was 16 every Friday night. I loved all the stuff he played on his show and he was the main influence for me to go and buy decks and learn how to DJ.
Who has been your biggest influence?
I guess Jules was my biggest influence overall. Like i said above I would listen religiously every week to Jules both on a Friday and a Saturday when he had 2 shows. He got me into trance and from there I got my decks, learnt to mix and then moved to London to try and get into the industry.
What moment would you live again if you could?
There been so many great moments. The best moment in my life was getting married which would be great to live again. Musically though, I'd say playing Sunrise Festival in Poland would be up there. The event is set in an old auditorium and I played just before the sun came up, the view was unbelievable and the atmosphere was amongst the best I have ever played to. It was one of those moments that made me think this is what being a DJ is all about and how lucky I was to be able to be there and play there.
Where in the world is trance-central?
Well most people would say Holland was but I think at the moment the freshest place for trance is Poland. The events are always packed and the club events are really going strong on a weekly basis. I think now Eastern Europe is in a really good place trance wise.
