Where did you discover trance?

That was about 10 years ago when I started going to a club in Holland called "De Danssalon". When the DJ started playing tracks like Cafe del Mar from Energy 52 and Southside Spinners' "Luvstruck", I got really interested.

Who has been your biggest influence?

I guess that has to be Marco V, since he was the dj playing at De Danssalon! What I liked about his sound was the combination between techno beats and simple but effective trancy sounding riffs, especially those pounding beats I was missing with other producers back then.

What moment would you live again if you could?

There are several actually: The first time I got my own track on vinyl, the first time I heard my track being played in a club, the first time playing in front of a big crowd. Those moments are definitely priceless!

Where in the world is trance-central?

I think trance is still expanding globally today as it did a few years ago. I also think trance has become a much more diverse style, which is a fantastic development.
