Where did you discover trance?

It was back when all the gabber/hardcore started to become boring. Radio 538 and DanceDepartment on the radio, listening to tapes my friend recorded off the radio. A little later in Tiesto's record store called "Magik" where it really started and I bought loads of vinyl every week!

Who has been your biggest influence?

Music-wise it must have been Tiesto in the early days, the Magik Series, his productions and his sets were amazing! Nowadays producers like Cosmic Gate, First State, Jonas Steur, Cliff Coenraad are amongst many inspirations.

What moment would you live again if you could?

Hearing Tiesto drop "Palma Solane" (by myself and Jonas Steur) again on the In Search Of Sunrise 4 Release party in Amsterdam. That moment sent shivers up my spine! Also my DJ debut in front of 10000 clubbers went by too fast, I'd love to see that once more... :)

Where in the world is trance-central?

I don't think there is any place on earth that could be called trance-central, though the Netherlands and the UK are far up there. But most of all I think trance-central is in the clubbers' hearts.
