Where did you discover trance?

I discovered trance about 2 years before Trance Nation One came out - but I only got addicted when I saw Judge Jules playing in the Opera House - I remember climbing out of the bedroom window of where we were staying on holiday and telling mum we had trouble getting a taxi home when we got back late... terrible!

Who has been your biggest influence?

I have had a few influences, from my dad as he is a musician himself, Guy Ornadel who has made this all possible, Judge Jules for bringing personality to DJing, Ferry for being the best producer of the early trance, Tiesto for being the biggest DJ ever, PvD for being untouchable - everyone has influenced me. They should do a DJ Top Trumps!

What moment would you live again if you could?

Closing the main arena of Global Gathering to just over 11,000 people and playing my new track :-)

Where in the world is trance-central?

Absolutely everywhere. It could be the living room of a houseparty, it could be the dancefloor of that underground club or it could be central park NY. The greatest thing about trance is that it takes over wherever you hear it. It's contagious!
