Where did you discover trance?
Germany back in the glory days before the Dutch took the trance crown (only to borrow on a temporary basis... we'll get it back one day ;-) ) Strangely, really through Tunnel Club then it had a very different sound to Tunnel now. I used to fly over from the UK to go to clubs in Hamburg to get regular blasts of German trance
Who has been your biggest influence?
Without doubt Dumonde, Cosmic Gate, who I have the pleasure to work with and Talla 2XLC. Talla for me is a trance icon. Techno Club 11 CD 1 still gets a regular bashing in the car seven years after its release. Perfect example of a trance journey musically. Career wise my great influence has been Jay Frog (JBF) who helped me make my dream a reality by encouraging me to chuck in a perfectly sensible lifestyle to start my own music company in 2003.
What moment would you live again if you could?
Probably the moment the alarm went off and I realised it would be the first day in the office of trance :-) Also the moment Massive's tracks were played for the first time in a club, seeing the crowd enjoy them was such a buzz, this is a moment I intend to keep reliving hopefully for a while.
