Where did you discover trance?
Actually I don't really remember what was the moment or place where I discovered it. Guess it was in the end of the nineties, when pure trance was at it's peaktime. Maybe System F's "Out Of The Blue" for me was about the start of it all. Heard it for the first time when I was working in a CD shop on Saturdays, and the video was played on a music video station a few times a day. Loved the sounds, loved the atmosphere.
Who has been your biggest influence?
I don't have one, or even a few, biggest influences. I am influenced by everything I hear and like. That could be electronic music, but also pop, rock, classical, movie scores, whatever. When it's good, it's good! If I'd be influenced by trance or techno producers only, I think my music would sound dull, uninspired and unoriginal. You need to keep on searching for new things to keep everything fresh!
What moment would you live again if you could?
Some years ago, I had a full week of gigs in Poland, in the summer. Every day another one, and everywhere the biggest crowds you could imagine. Definitely one of the best weeks of my DJ career. Towards the end of the week I was getting a little tired of the short nights. Afterwards I heard that the crowd on the last night was the best of all week. I liked that last gig, but due to being so tired, I really hadn't noticed it was that special. I'd like to relive that week, take all my friends with me, and enjoy it even more than I did back then!
Where in the world is trance-central?
Don't think it's at one spot. It's everywhere, you just have to look out for it!
