My Trance Story

Where did you discover trance?

A friend of mine brought a CD with trance music on it one day. I liked that stuff, so I wanted to discover more of that sound and I started to go regularly to our local record stores. I was mainly influenced by labels like Global Underground or Renaissance and DJs like Paul Oakenfold.

Who has been your biggest influence?

My biggest influence about producing music is definitely my every day life and how I see and feel things and moments. But there is also a band, which had and still has a very big influence on me and that is Depeche Mode. For me Depeche Mode is more than just music, it is lifestyle.

What moment would you live again if you could?

The first time I played one of my tracks and the crowd enjoyed it. That is something you can't describe. It's like a dream. It's always a nice feeling to see the reaction on your productions directly on the dancefloor, but the first time never can be repeated.

Where in the world is trance-central?

It's in the mind and heart of everyone, who enjoys trance music. It's not a place you can go to. But I can also imagine, that it could be the living room of Armin van Buuren this year :)
